Our platform offers a daily direct data feed of unit level data and a range of integration types tailored to suit your technology needs and technical skill levels. We offer a Data Sync data feed with a no-code integration option and a data lake integration option. We also provide direct access to our APIs.
Data Sync - (No-code) BI Delivery Overview
You can effortlessly connect and analyze your data without the need for advanced technical skills. Our Data Sync option offers the following data that you can easily connect to and use in your analytics platform/tool:
- Choose between 4 levels of data granularity:
- MSA
- Property
- Floor Plan
- Unit
- MSA
- All unit-level rents for your owned properties and their comparable properties in ApartmentIQ
- Receive 30 days of leased unit-level rent and effective rent for units currently advertised in your Market Surveys
- Opt-in to direct data feed for research properties and expanded market coverage

Data Sync - DataLake Overview
Data Sync integrates seamlessly with data lake providers when you need to store and analyze massive volumes of diverse information from multiple sources. This includes but is limited to:
- AWS
- Snowflake
- Azure
- GCP

Alternative Options
ApartmentIQ offers other options to ensure you are able to get the data you need, in the format you desire. A similar csv API option where you can dynamically apply filters to view properties within MSA boundaries is available. We also offer a JSON API for highly technical teams who require handling implementation on their own. Please contact your Customer Success Manager or our Support Team for more information. Additionally, please reference this link for developer resources.
Getting Started
To get started with any of ApartmentIQ’s Direct Data options, please contact our support team (support@apartmentiq.io) for your Data Sync or API key access.
The files update every morning and are ready with the current day's data by 11 AM CST. If you access the file before the update is complete, it will still contain data from the previous day. This process ensures there is no downtime for any of our Direct Data options, allowing you to always access the most up-to-date information available.
When an application user adds or removes comps to a Market/Research Survey in Apartment IQ, for Standard and DataLake integrations the new changes will be reflected in your data feed the next day, API data will be available in real time.
The APIs allow you to search for additional properties via geocode and does not require a property to be part of a Market or Research survey.
