Bedroom and bathroom counts in Voyager are stored on the unit type record — not on individual units. If a floor plan is displaying the wrong bed or bath count, the update is made once on the unit type and applies to every unit assigned to it.
Steps
- From the side menu, go to Setup > Review Unit Types. (Depending on your menu set, this may appear under Setup > Property > Unit Type, or you can type “Unit Type” into the search bar.)
- Filter by Property, then select the unit type code you need to change.
- Click Edit, update the Bedrooms and Bathrooms fields, and Save.

Good to Know
- Permissions: Editing unit type records typically requires setup or admin-level access. If the Edit button is grayed out, please reach out to your Yardi administrator.
- Timing: Connected systems pick up the change on their next scheduled sync, so please allow up to one business day for the update to reflect in downstream platforms.
