When Daylight renewal pricing is approved, it is sent to Yardi immediately through the API. From there, the renewal process lives in Yardi — offers are not automatically delivered to residents. Your team will need to generate a renewal batch, approve the terms, and produce renewal letters before anything goes out.

1

Daylight

Approve renewal prices

Renewal pricing recommendations are reviewed and approved in the Daylight workflow.

2

Daylight

Send pricing to Yardi

Approved prices are pushed to Yardi immediately via the API integration. No manual export required.

3

Yardi (PMS)

Generate renewal batch

In Yardi, initiate the renewal batch process using the received pricing. Offers do not go to residents automatically — this step requires manual action.

4

Yardi (PMS)

Approve offer terms

Review and approve the renewal offer terms in Yardi using the pricing received from Daylight.

5

Yardi (PMS)

Generate renewal letters

Generate renewal letters in Yardi from the approved terms. Letters reflect the pricing pushed from Daylight.

6

CRM

Deliver to residents

Renewal offers are delivered to residents through your in-place CRM process.

Note: Steps 3–5 are completed entirely within Yardi's renewal workflow. The CRM delivery step (step 6) applies if your organization uses a CRM to communicate with residents — this step follows your in-place process.
